As summer nights grow longer and days grow shorter, I am reminded that fall is just around the corner. In Kansas, the sunflowers are my favorite sign that autumn has arrived and winter is just a few short months away. Another favorite sign of mine is the arrival of Close To My Heart’s new Idea Book packed with fun, new products that get my end of the year creativity brewing. After all, there are school projects, Labor Day cards, Halloween decorations, Thanksgiving table settings, Breast Cancer Awareness gifts and of course, Christmas to name just a few crafty opportunities.
Though many people think about births in the spring rather than fall, Babycakes is the newest line that is perfect for those family and friends you have “expecting”, or “delivering” in the next few months. Here is a closer look at some of the new Babycakes coordinating products.
Of course, the Babycakes Workshop on the Go Kit is my favorite of them all. I just love receiving a full paper pack with the full-color scrapbook project guide to get my inner scrapper started and a coordinating stamp set to get my inner stamper moving! And throw in some coordinating embellishments and I am G2G, (good to go)!
I also like to buy nice canvas and card stock stickers when I know I will be creating a mini album, or several scrapbook layouts. Babycakes has a really cute pack!
If I know I want to make cards or invitations, I may also pick up the coordinating stamp sets. Babycakes has two very cute stamp sets that coordinate perfectly to complete congratulations cards, baby shower invitations, and party favors! I feel like I could also use the stamps for children’s birthday cards, too, so I will definitely add these stamps to my list!
Just to give you a closer look, I decided to include a close up of the coordinating Babycakes bling!
Here is a better look at the Babycakes paper pack, too. I just love how you get two each of three different double-sided card stock weight patterned papers along with six coordinating card stock sheets. If I really like a paper pack, and I know I have several projects in mind, I normally pick up the Workshop Kit and a paper pack. This way I am getting a discount with the kit and I will have enough paper for everything I would like to do. I normally make two 2-page layouts and several cards with one paper pack, so I know I may need more paper if I do any more projects than that.
I’d love to hear what you think about the Babycakes line. Pls post any comments here, or email me at amymuse@me.com. You can also shop online at amymuse.myctmh.com anytime. Happy Scrappin’!
