At long last, the Close To My Heart Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book has arrived and the new products are just flying off the shelves! Every time I receive a new Idea Book for my preview month, I think to myself, “What could they possibly do to top the last Idea Book?” Then as I flip through the pages, I am blown away by how CTMH seems to be reading my mind! This Idea Book did not disappoint and once again, blew my inner Scrapbook Diva away!

My favorite new product is the Cricut Artbooking cartridge. It is very special and unlike any other cartridge I have seen! One key creates an entire 12″ by 12″ scrapbook layout! Two keys create an entire mini scrapbook album! Whoa! You need to see it in person for sure. As with all of Close To My Heart’s Cricut cartridges, it comes with three fabulous coordinating My Acrylix stamp sets and three packs of coordinating chipboard shapes.

In a close second, the two My Crush books with coordinating stamps and accessory packs have made me fall in love with CTMH all over again. I use the K & Co Smash books to cut and paste all of my favorite articles from various magazines to save the ideas for later. (I did start this before Pinterest!). So needless to say, I am very excited about having a superior Close To My Heart product now! In fact, I am so impressed, I am having a workshop on September 7th at the Ogden Community Center!

I just love my home decor projects! I was stunned when I saw a fabulous white frame with chicken wire! I have been hunting here and there for an old frame I could paint white and add chicken wire to for months. Every time I found a frame I liked, it was priced much too high! Once I bought the paint, wire, nails, and sanding paper, one would cost me nearly $100! Too much for my DIY style! So when I saw the CTMH frames for $26.95, (Z1865) I was ecstatic! How adorable and at a great value!! They even has a kit project to create the home dec piece below! (Z1911 $35.96+tax)

If you don’t like this frame in particular, they also introduced a black frame with wires! Very Pier 1 style. In fact, I got a similar one at Pier 1 last year! LOL! CTMH’s frame is Z1880 for $26.95! Less than I paid for mine that was on clearance! So again, a great value! It is pictured below with the cutest 3″ by 3″ cards!

These are just a few of my favorite new products, but trust me, there are many, many more! Organization, Workshops on the Go, new Card Kits, bling, ribbon…the list goes on and on! Yippee!!
