I just loved the Bohemian Assortment (Z1687) from the moment I saw it in the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book. With its 6 lace flowers, 2 each of 3 designs and 10 buttons with a vintage, feminine flair, I thought its $4.95 price tag was not too shabby!
I really wanted to think outside the box with my entries, so I thought I could make a cute necklace adding a few found vintage items and wire! I just love the end result!! Maybe I should sell them on etsy!
I discovered that I like painting this year. Mixing our water based re-inkers with fluid acrylic paint and water makes for a great color wash on canvas! True, you can’t throw a bag like this in the washing machine…unless, of course, you want to change it again and again!
I made paper flowers using the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge from Close To My Heart. By cutting out cute spirals on the cartridge, you simply roll the paper into these fabulous rosettes! I LOVE when the cutting and hard work is done for me!! LOL!
I hope you enjoyed this post and it gives you your own out of the box ideas to try Close TO My Heart products with other art you are passionate about! Happy Scrappin’!
