Missed YOU More Than You Know!

I am back…finally! I really haven’t been too far away. I make it a point to only post positive, happy, scrappy things as Miss Scrappy Britches, my alter ego if you will. Miss Scrappy Britches is a carefree, fun-loving, creative, outgoing, chatty Kathy-type. Miss Scrappy Britches always see the World through rose-colored glasses, sips from glasses half full, and years to have close girlfriends to share her passion for scrapping and lend a hand to anyone who needs it.

Truth be told, I haven’t been feeling like Miss Scrappy Britches at all. My Army job has had so many ups and downs, twists and turns, and sometimes I don’t know it I am coming or going. I have really been struggling with balance this past year. I just can’t get it right for some reason. I may think one thing is keeping me down, so I work hard to find a solution and once I have done everything in my power to take care of the issue, another one rears its head and the cycle begins again.

Art is in my soul! Art brings me healing! I missed being creative, so I have decided to branch out and try new things. I have been working with different mediums and I have really unlocked another side of my creativity. However, I have not hosted a party, Open House, or Team Mtg for quite some time. As of late, I have had a few small workshops and run my booth a few times. I feel like I am starting to get back to my old self a bit.

I want to encourage any of you who may be going through life “stuff”, (Miscellany as I like to call it), to allow yourself time to create and heal. It is nearly impossible to take a day off from life! I had chosen to stuff away my Miscellany and really beat it down into the tippy bottom corner of my heart. It has been a struggle to dredge up that old Miscellany, but I guess there comes a point in life when your cup of Miscellany is spilling over and there is nothing you can do but face it, (with the right therapist sometimes).

So please don’t forget me, because I haven’t forgotten you. Happy Scrappin’!
