Meet the “Stars” of the Annual Inspirations Idea Book…the paper packs! I believe all paper crafting starts with patterned paper! Okay, maybe the photos are the true stars of our scrapbooks, but patterned paper is used for so much more. From heartfelt cards to shadow boxes and every idea and DIY project in between and beyond, patterned paper is and will always be an essential. As always, Close To My Heart Scrapbooking and Stamping is chock full of innovative and trendy paper packs.
First up is a paper pack called “Chalk It Up”. In case you have not noticed, the chalk board look is everywhere right now! And with school right around the corner, it is no surprise that many crafters are using chalk board inspired products in many of their projects. Stock up, because this trend will be around for a while!
Our second paper pack in my all star line up is Scaredy Cat! I just adore the vintage feel of this Halloween inspired product line. The off white color and muted tones really have a vintage appeal, but the images on the patterned paper have a spooky, but playful feel. This is a must have for my Halloween projects and is my very favorite Halloween release to date! I just adore it!
Third is a Thanksgiving inspired paper pack called Pathfinding. With rusty red, olive green, muted orange, and other fall inspired hues, floral and leafy patterns, this paper pack is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving projects. It is just a happy paper pack that is a lot of fun to create with!
There are two Holiday paper packs in the Annual Inspirations Idea Book. Yuletide Greetings paper pack is a gorgeous vintage Holiday themed product line. You have just got to take a closer look at these beautiful papers in person, because this photo does not do the papers justice.
Snowhaven is truly a nordic, alpine feeling paper pack. These papers have cheery, happy colors that just say “Happy Winter”. These papers remind me of snow, sledding, hot cocoa, Ugg boots, and mittens! I cannot wait to start creating some fun wintry projects!
The sixth paper pack is called Confetti Wishes. I am highlighting this product line next, because my birthday is in January and I think New Year’s projects would be fun with this product line. Confetti Wishes is just a fun, spunky and colorful bunch of papers that can be dressed up to be fun and funky, or used more simply to be trendy and fabulous.
Get ready for a VERY trendy paper pack called Brushed! If you love the different Boca photo filters available and you love a bit of mixed media, you will love Brushed. This product line also boasts fabulous florals and trendy patterns. This paper pack screams “Spring Fling”!
The eighth star paper pack is called Seaside. It is a very pretty, cheery and calming product line with gorgeous beachy images and papers simulating weathered, peeling paint. This product line makes me dream of basking in the sun and running warm sand through my toes and fingers. I only wish I lived closer to the coast, so I had great pictures to scrapbook with these Seaside papers.
Okay, okay, OKAY! If you know me at all, you know I have been stationed all over the World, my husband, Jared is currently stationed in Germany, and I just adore traveling! This last star paper pack is very near and dear to my heart. It is called “Wanderful”, but I believe a more appropriate name is “Wanderlust”! This is my very favorite travel themed product line I have ever had the pleasure to come across. I have been paper crafting for over three decades, I this pack has got to be in my top five all time favorite product lines! This product line is so colorful, fun, and has a motor scooter! Love it!
All of these paper packs have coordinating complements, embellishments, My Acrylix stamp sets, and inks. As you will see in the coming months, the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridges: Artbooking, Artiste, and Art Philosophy, have hundreds of items that coordinate with these paper lines as well.
