Laughing Lola is September’s featured Kit of the Month for Amuse Creative Studio! Laughing Lola boasts some of the most fun patterns in hues of Laughing Lola Purple, Laughing Lola Gold, and Laughing Lola Blue created especially for this kit! The accessories are so fun and everything coordinates really well with Gypsy purple, Lagoon blue, Black, and White. The Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements have some sayings that are “Like, universal, girl!” “That was Epic” is one. “Dream big” and “Live Simply” are a few more of my favorites.

When I first saw these papers, I immediately wished I had a few tweens of my own! (No, don’t drop your kids at my doorstep!) Then I started remembering, I myself had a few photo albums from my middle school and high school years. I have never put any of these pictures in a scrapbook since they were taken! “This may be really fun!”, I thought. I was amazed at how many names I put to faces in these pictures. I also giggled to myself as I remembered little things, like the crush I had on Jon H. (In my teen years, I ended up kissing him! Alas, he kissed like a fish and I had to let him go!)

As I started working with the kit and finished my Workshop first project using the Laughing Lola Workshop on the Go  (G1065 $29.95) instructional brochure, I realized Laughing Lola had brought the party to my craft room! I grabbed an old photo album from my crazy single days at Fort Campbell, KY and found some pictures that would be perfect for the additional layout!! I was again laughing out loud at some of these memories, too. I realized that THESE very moments are why I love scrapping. Too bad I didn’t have some of my besties around to share these memories with!!
