My Extravaganza Display Boards

Extravaganza is an event held during Close To My Heart’s National Convention. Every year, Independent Consultants around the country send the company a variety of specified art pieces to be judged for a spot to teach at Extravaganza. I was so EXCITED when I found out I was chosen! Whoo-Hoo! I remember how happy I was when I got that email! I was like, “Jared! They picked me!!”, as I was jumping around with happiness!

(In case you haven’t noticed, I enjoy the little things in life ALOT!)

I remember how flabbergasted I was when I saw the Cricut prototype, stamps, chipboard elements, and paper packs!! I had a VERY IMPORTANT SECRET to hold. Hum…that was hard to do. I just love my Cricut and now my favorite scrapbook company developed the very product I have been yearning for, ONLY BETTER! I mean, the bundle has coordinating My Acrylix Stamps Sets, chipboard, and a DISCOUNTED PRICE! Okay. Okay. I am getting too excited!

So since the cartridge is called Art Philosophy, I decided to separate my boards by some philosophies I hold near and dear to my heart: sharing, giving, and gratitude. I took these philosophies and applied them to using the products to boost your parties to a new level. Ladies want parties that are FUN! They don’t want a catalog party! They want to have fun with friends and maybe create a quick card and place an order. The ladies that are really interested in documenting their families memories will attend a Workshop on the Go monthly!
The pictures included in this Blog post are the display boards I shipped to corporate and one of the items I donated to the Silent Auction. I can’t wait to show off all the new products at my Open House, Monday, August 8, 2011 AND raffle off some of these creations to you lucky ladies! TTFN!

  1. Hi Amy! Great boards! I was wondering if you would share what buttons you used to make the mini purses? They are way too cute! I couldn't find in the book. Thank you! I really enjoy your blog!

  2. Hi Amy! Beautiful Boards! I was hoping you would be so kind to explain how did you make the mini purses. I can see the one is a pillow box, but what buttons did you use to make the other two?So creative!
