Yes! My Sensational Mini Album Extravaganza kicks off with this Blog entry! I was just too excited to wait for November, so I decided to launch a series of fabulous mini albums a few days early! You may not know, but I consider myself kind of a Queen of Mini Scrapbooks! They are SO FUN to make!
Mini albums are truly a passion of mine for many reasons. First and foremost, they are PDQ, (Pretty Darn Quick!). Minis take minimal planning, just a few products , and short afternoon to complete. Secondly, minis can be about ANY subject…person, place, thing, or idea. Anything! Whatever your heart desires! You can make a mini with or without pictures…there are no rules. Yes, my third reason for loving minis is there are NO RULES! Yippee!
To the right of my Blog, I have added a long list of mini album ideas. Use a few, change them up, or make up your own ideas for fabulous mini albums for family, friends, and yourself. Mini albums look great displayed on a coffee table or shelf for all to see. I love to carry a few with me, especially this one I created using a Close To My Heart My Creations 3-Ringed Binder, (Z1141 $5.97).
I can hardly wait to make and post more albums for this Sensational Mini Album Extravaganza! I have over 30 ideas and almost all cost under $15.00 to make…some cost just a few dollars by using things around the house you would NEVER think to use! Even when I go to Starbucks, I am looking at my cup thinking that this is a future scrapbook! And yes, I will make one for you to see and lift. Everything is fair game when it comes to papercrafting as far as I am concerned!
