I just wanted to take a quick minute to wish everyone a happy Labor Day weekend. I also wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on why we celebrate Labor Day as a Federal Holiday and give my thanks.

Thanks to America’s founding fathers who had the foresight to lay the building blocks upon which this nation was built. Thanks to my Lord and Creator for giving them the foresight and wherewithal to make the tough choices they did.

Thanks to all those whom saw the tragedies in the work force and made it better by stopping slavery, creating child labor laws, beginning equal opportunity and affirmative action rights, and creating an economy and country that allows us to make choices every day that can better us as individuals, citizens, and children of our Higher Power. Whew! Okay enough of my soap box…hehe.
