I am just too excited to sleep. You see, as a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant, I am allowed to order new products from the Autumn/Winter 09 Idea Book a month early. This way, I can get all the projects for my scrapbook clubs, card clubs, and home gatherings done for all my family, friends, clubbers, beloved customers, and soon-to-be consultants. I can’t wait to get started! Today was the first of four straight days off from my day job, so I have extra time to play with all the new products.

I got my first 25 new Idea Books this evening, and I LOVE the new look to the Idea Book! I can’t wait to give them out to my clubbers this month for them to ear mark and drool over. It is gonna be just as hard for them to wait to order until September than it was for me to wait to create my projects. My goal is to have everything finished for them to see on club night. Yippee!

This Idea Book is kind of bittersweet to me, because I am deploying to Iraq this fall. I remember thinking this deployment would never come when the Summer Idea Book came out in May. Now it is almost September and I will be boarding a plane in a few short months, leaving all of my family, friends, and CTMH sisters behind.

Then again, I am very lucky I can serve my country and be a small part of this great nation’s history. I cherish being able to be part of something that is so much bigger than myself. Something that so few American’s can say that they have done–fighting for freedom, liberty, justice, and the American way of life. I don’t have to worry about the politics, because it is not a Soldier’s place.

Yikes, maybe it is time to think about going to bed when I am being so philosophical! I know in the end that my maker has a plan for me. It is my job just to give 110% every day and try to pay it forward every chance I get. Sweet Dreams everyone and God bless our troops.
