Wanna Scrapbook Get-A-Way Weekend?

We all need to schedule “me” time and I can not think of a better mini vacation that involves relaxation, pampering, scrapbooking, and friends! “The Kansas Keepsakes Retreat, Inc. is a one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast retreat center that is a perfect location for any scrapbooker’s get-a-way weekend. You will love the cropping/crafting room. It has over 1,100 square feet and is located in a separate building only two steps from the back deck so you can pound grommets or laugh all night long without waking anyone.”

“The original house was built in 1907 in Lyons, Kansas, and has been beautifully renovated specifically to meet B&B and visiting groups’ wants and desires. The house has beautiful inlaid wood floors, two incredible fireplaces, a huge dining room, and a warm cozy living room.”

“Our groups receive a total of five great meals beginning on Friday evening through Sunday brunch. This also includes numerous snacks and unlimited beverages, (regular and diet soda, tea, coffee, bottled water).”

“Our cropping room is large and spacious with over 1100 square feet of working area – built especially for scrapbookers. Each guest gets a full 8-foot table all to herself. We have sturdy solid tables – not the flimsy kind. You can spread out your tools and embellishments when you get here and you do not have to pick them up until time to go home. Our chairs are adjustable executive office chairs with casters for moving around without having to get up. Each table has an Daylight lamp, extra outlets for your personal tools, a large waste basket, and a spill proof drink holder. There are two television sets so you can watch TV or a movie while you crop, and a stereo with CD player to listen to your favorite music.”

“The cropping room is open for non-stop cropping from 1:00 p.m. on Friday until departure at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. It is located in a separate building just two steps off the back deck so you can work all night without disturbing anyone, or if you choose to retire early, you will not be wakened by those obsessed scrapbookers who will not sleep. The cropping room will be open for guest use during the midweek retreat from 1:00 p.m. on Monday until departure at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The cropping area has its own kitchen so you can have a cup of coffee or a cold drink and a snack should your energy start to slow during the night.”
“We encourage you to bring your own personal tools and favorite cropping supplies because there is plenty of room for everything on your 8-foot table. We also have a great variety of tools for your use while at Kansas Keepsakes Retreat Inc., some of which are listed below:
