Amy’s Book Recommendation

For some reason unknown to me, I am in one of my self-reflection moods. Besides being a self-professed “Recovering Scrapaholic“, I am a self-help book junkie.
50 Moments: Scrapbook Pages That Matter Most is one of my go-to books to get ideas when I feel like really scrapbooking some of my feelings. I recommend it to anyone who would like to take their hobby to a whole new level.
“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.” -Dr Seuss is a quote on page 7. This book is full of cute quotes and ideas to get your creative juices flowing.
Here are a few I would like to scrap soon:
“#8 Passions…define yourself outside of your traditional roles, to remind yourself of what makes you happy…What are you passionate about? What are your family members passionate about? How did you discover your passions, and how have they played out in your life?”
“#13 A Wish That Came True…remember that wishes do come true, to appreciate even the small things that happen for you…Write about a wish that came true for you. What was the wish? How long did it take for your wish to come true?”
“#21 Think Big, Dream Big…reflect on your hopes…What are your hopes and dreams? What hopes and dreams have you already realized? How did you make your hopes and dreams come true?”
These are just a few of the 50 Moments you can really reflect on and leave a legacy about by sharing with others through the art of scrapbooking. So don’t worry so much about scrapping every single event, but rather scrap what most overlook and what really counts…YOU!
